Client was a grand master in floral art. He ran a florist academy in Shinchon, teaching young artists pursing floral art. The site was located adjacent to the existing academy and the new project needed to connect the two branches together.
The artist had a preference for curvature design, which could resonate with his floral art. There are many architectural examples of direct formal mimicry from flowers, but I have chosen reduce the language of flowers down to repeating layers of curves. The inner spaces are filled with converging layers of walls that can separate spaces physically connecting them visually.
